European Parliament acts as the primary legislative body for the European Union. The Parliament is made up of MP’s who are there to represent EU member countries. The MP’s must pass legislation, laws, rules, regulations and make decisions on behalf of their representatives across Europe. There are many different political groups in the European Parliament, these political groups vote on legislation according to their ideology and country policy. There are many different issues on which the parliament is divided on currently.
The delegates participating in this committee should try to do their best to understand how EU works, understanding current events about EU and how MP’s represent their country in the parliament.
