Yeditepe University Model United Nations Club, or simply Y-MUN, has been a non-profit student Model United Nations community, whose aim is to train its members, who are interested in international relations, politics, and law for the simulations of United Nations since 2007. Club members, who participate in Model UN conferences both in Turkey and abroad, have the chance to experience being a United Nations diplomat.

Social, Humanitarian & Cultural Committee referred to as SOCHUM stands for the third committee of the General Assembly. SOCHUM is allocated by the General Assembly in order to consider agenda items regarding social, humanitarian and cultural affairs that have impacts on the rights of many. Additionally, SOCHUM discusses upon the protection of the rights of children, racial discriminations, the right to self-determination, particular social development issues of youth, family, refugees, people who faced with disabilities and; therefore, addresses global drug control.
United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) was established in 1964, in the absence of an intergovernmental body that tackles the challenges of developing countries. UNCTAD provides technical assistance to developing member states in their challenge to integrate global trade, and works in cooperation with other bodies such as, but not limited to, International Trade Center, World Trade Organization, the International Chamber of Commerce , Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Bank, the International Labor Organization.
The United Nations Security Council, the UNSC, was established under the framework of the Charter of the United Nations in order to achieve the predetermined goals of maintaining international peace and security, developing relations, cooperating regarding international problems and promoting the human rights. In this regard, the UNSC, as a significant body of the United Nations whose decisions are binding for every member state, is in charge of the maintenance of the global security with its fifteen members that are elected for two-year terms including five permanent members with veto rights.
